CoSupport AI on Product Hunt: Launch Journey from A to Z
Recently, we did something for the first time: we launched a product on Product Hunt.
It was our debut, not just for the product, but for us as a team. And to be honest, we weren’t sure how it would go. By the end of the day, CoSupport AI had become a Top 5 Product of the Day.
But none of it happened by accident. Behind that #5 ranking was a lot of focused, intentional work, long before launch day.
What We Did to Reach the Top 5 on Product Hunt
- Studied our users’ needs.
- Designed a fully customizable AI platform.
- Built a relevant community.
- Engaged in daily conversations.
- Actively collected and applied feedback.
We began by going back to what matters most: our users. We didn’t want to just build something we were excited about; we wanted to design a platform that directly addressed the real challenges our clients face. That meant studying support workflows, listening to pain points, and aligning every feature with a tangible need. We can be passionate about tech all day long, but if it doesn’t translate into practical outcomes for our customers, it won’t matter.
From there, we pushed to design a truly customizable, all-in-one AI platform. No-code setup, instant integrations, compatibility with any helpdesk or CRM, and AI agents that don’t hallucinate. That last one isn’t just a tagline, it’s backed by patent-pending technology that allows us to combine speed and accuracy in ways that most generic bots can’t.
We also invested in building a real network. Months before launch, we started showing up: on LinkedIn, in niche forums, Slack groups, and community platforms. We talked about what we were building. We asked for feedback. We learned what people actually wanted from their support AI, and what they didn’t.
That daily communication with our audience wasn’t just marketing. It was foundational. It gave us the insight and clarity we needed to fine-tune the product, messaging, and even onboarding flow. And when it came time to launch, that same community was there, not just to cheer us on, but to challenge us, support us, and remind us that we’re solving a real problem.
Here’s what it looked like in Product Hunt’s Daily email.
A Front-Row Seat to Innovation
The competition we faced was fierce. We found ourselves next to Perplexity’s Comet, a product from one of the most admired names in AI today. The leaderboard was full of polished tools: app builders, testing agents, mini-app generators.
But here’s the thing: the more we explored the other products, the more we appreciated how vibrant and sharp this builder community really is. It felt like being part of a digital science fair, where every booth was a startup, and every founder had poured months into something they were truly proud of. It was hard not to cheer for the others. And it was even harder not to be inspired by them.
What We Got out of Our First-Ever Launch
A stronger network. We connected with fellow builders, founders, and early users we wouldn’t have met otherwise. A single launch brought us into conversations that could lead to partnerships, feedback loops, and future collaborations.
True team collaboration. We had engineers building final fixes at midnight, marketers racing to polish visuals, and founders debating whether or not to ping friends one more time. It wasn’t perfect, but it brought our team closer in the best way.
Exposure to brilliant builders. We were blown away by the other products launching that day. From AI dev tools to design utilities, there was no shortage of creativity. It was like joining an impromptu hackathon full of the smartest people on the internet.
Real lessons in shipping. You don’t get to hide on launch day. We learned what resonates, what confuses, and what truly makes people stop scrolling. That insight is gold.
Lessons We’ll Take With Us
Every Product Hunt launch teaches you something about your product, your audience, and the market. But what we walked away with wasn’t just internal growth. It was validation from real users that CoSupport AI solves a real, painful problem and does it better than most.
Here’s what our clients (and future clients) can take from our launch:
→ Your support challenges are universal.
During the launch, dozens of founders and support leaders reached out with the same pain points: support teams drowning in repetitive questions, poor deflection rates from traditional chatbots, and a growing need to scale without hiring. It reinforced why CoSupport AI exists and how urgently teams need customizable, accurate AI agents they can trust.
→ We pressure-tested our platform at scale.
Launch day brought in a wave of interest. People tested our AI, asked difficult questions, and tried to break it and we welcomed that. CoSupport AI handled the pressure with speed, precision, and full transparency. The 99% accuracy we promised? We backed it up in public.
→ Feedback is fuel.
From tough critiques to enthusiastic praise, the feedback we got from our launch helped shape the next version of our product just like your feedback will help shape your custom AI agent. With every conversation, our AI gets smarter. And so do we.
If you’re thinking of launching on Product Hunt soon and want tips, we’re happy to share the raw version, mistakes and all.
CoSupport AI is just getting started, but this first step already gave us way more than we expected.
Thanks to everyone who supported us, cheered us on, and reminded us why building in public is worth it.
